New car, hope it keeps running.

When you suddenly realize that you are filling up your radiator every morning before you go to work, and hoping that you don’t get stuck in stop and go traffic for and hour at a time, You have to think: Maybe i need a different car.
So i sold the Sidekick. The day i sold this car was a very interesting day. This day deserves its own post that will probably never happen. Anyway, i sold the Sidekick on the first day i had it listed knowing that i had the motorcycle to get me to work and back no problem right? Well, the day after i sold it we got our rain for the year. For a whole week. I did not bring my rain gear to LA and i don’t like to be wet and cold. Besides, people in LA for some reason have know idea how to drive in the rain. They get all crazy either driving really slow or just plain stupid. I don’t even like to drive my car with these people when it rains. So for my safety and my need to stay dry: needless to say i bummed rides to work for week. The next week i got to ride the bike to work and start looking for a car.
I found this:

1997 Saab 900SE
The owner of this car happens to be a Saab mechanic. Now this could be good or bad. If a mechanic sells a car it is usually because he know what is wrong with it and it will cost more to fix than he is willing to spend. That could be bad. If he has taken care of the car and done maintenance on it and fixes cars up to sell, than it could be good. I am leaning toward good on this one. He seams to be a very nice guy and went out of his way to help me with a radio problem and he recharged my air conditioning unit when it ran out. I hope this will be a good car and not cause me too many problems. I guess that is what we all hope of our cars isn’t it?
This car got me thinking about all the cars i have had, its been alot. I am working on a post about all the my past cars, it should be an interesting read. As soon as i can gather pics of most of them i will post it.
