I packed up the car this morning not so sure that every thing was going to fit. As i have a tendency to acquire things when i travel, bringing it all back with me can some times be a challenge.

As you can see i filled it to the brim. I am quite proud to say i only had to leave behind 2 thing, both of which i had acquired while in LA.

I had the car packed by 1:30 PM and got on the road. i was not in a hurry as i would only traveling to Vegas. It was a good thing too, as the car did not like hills with the weight of all that stuff packed to the celling. but i have to give credit where credit is due, it was a trooper. it may have been slow going up hills but it kept going.
I arrived in Vegas just in time for rush hour traffic, but i will take rush hour in vegas any day over traffic any time in LA. I had a lovely dinner with my Aunt and Uncle before we returned to there home where they hospitably prepared a bed for me to crash in.

Off to bed so i can be on my way in the morning.

I spent Saturday playing Tourist. I did not get a lot of pictures but i did get some Video. I did not make it to the top of the US Bank Tower, they are closed Saturdays and don’t let people to the top even when they are open. but i got some video from the out side and around down town LA. I don’t care what people say, there are some absolutely gorges places in down town LA.

Before i leave L.A. i am going to try to get to the top of the U.S. Bank Tower. it is the tallest building west of Chicago, and the tallest building in the world with a Helipad on top. it is designed to with stand a 8.3 earth quake. I am not sure if they let people up there or not. I have searched the internet and can not find out if they do tours or not, but i am going to do it if they do. If any one knows if they do please let me know.

My show is now over. I have been done with it for about three weeks now. After the show ended i went to Salt Lake for 2 weeks and worked on preparing to extend my corporate tax deadline. (that was fun/not!). Spent some time with the family and headed back to LA to look for more work. My rent is almost up on my Apt. and i still have not found any good leads on work so i may be headed home soon. i guess the good news is i can start to blog again, except now i have nothing to blog about. Not that it will matter much as i probably no longer have any readers. Any way i will miss the nice weather in LA. I am going to try to go to the beach this week before i start packing up to go, and possibly put together a quick video. well see how it goes.
